Liminal and Heron
Collaboration with Ilka White

Collaborating with textile artist Ilka White, these two works explore a mode in which time and place, mind and body blur into a single state of being. Spiralling around the billabong at dusk … transcending into another animal - here the mind extends way out beyond the skull. To dwell in the ‘now’ and live the connection between all things – this is the vision that these works offer us.

Liminal was produced for the 'Time' group exhibition, curated by Katie Stackhouse at Poimena Art Gallery, Launceston, lutruwita/Tasmania in 2013.

Heron and Liminal were part of the 2^nd Tamworth Textile Triennial Exhibition 2014 which toured Australia nationally.
